WE ARE DEFENDERS OF POTENTIAL
CHANGING PERSPECTIVES, CHANGING LIVES.
Since the Big Brothers Big Sisters Miami Valley agency began in 1958, we have operated under the belief that inherent in every child is the ability to succeed and thrive in life. Starting in 1904 and growing to the nation’s largest donor and volunteer supported mentoring network, Big Brothers Big Sisters makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”), ages 6 through 18, in communities across the country.
We develop positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people.
Create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth.
All youth achieve their full potential

WE NEED YOU TO DEFEND THEIR POTENTIAL
While we couldn't do what we do without the help of our gracious Partners, what our Littles need is an adult who believes in them. Throughout our history as an organization, what our Littles have always needed more than anything is for a Big to be in their corner, cheering on their successes and supporting them in their failures, encouraging them to reach their potential. What they need is you.
OUR BOOKS ARE OPEN.
It’s your generous donations that enable us to match Bigs and Littles, starting more kids down the right path to a bright future. You have every right to know how your donations are used and to ensure that every dollar you give stays here in the Miami Valley. Your support is vital and we welcome your questions.
